Hi, I’m Margaret—a guide, storyteller, and fellow traveller on the healing path.
At The Spacious Breath, I help people move from being passive recipients of care to becoming active participants in their own well-being. Through somatic work, body awareness, and mindful practices, I share tools you can keep using long after a session—practical supports you can return to again and again.
My approach is built on a simple truth: real healing doesn’t come from trying to “fix” yourself. It comes from slowing down, paying attention, and being present. I guide people in shifting from constant doing into grounded being, so they can feel steadier in themselves and show up with clarity for their families and communities.

My Journey
Since exploring my own health symptoms a decade ago, I’ve been fascinated by the body’s innate ability to heal. My career began as a massage therapist, but over the years, I’ve expanded my practice to include craniosacral therapy and breathwork, as well as facilitating community breathwork ceremonies. Each modality has deepened my understanding of how the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected.
Mindfulness has been an essential part of my journey, helping me cultivate presence and deepen my awareness of what my body and mind truly need. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that true healing requires more than addressing physical symptoms. It’s about creating space for deep understanding so you can release what isn’t working and reclaim your energy to live a vibrant, meaningful life.
Most importantly, I’m shifting from being a fixer—always trying to solve or control—to becoming a lighthouse: a steady, grounded presence that guides from calm, clarity, and inner wisdom.

I see healing as a process of remembering our wholeness and interconnectedness—not just reducing physical symptoms. The body is wise and knows what it needs to feel in order to grow.
