Hi, I’m Margaret: a guide, storyteller, and fellow traveller on the healing path.
I create spaces for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore what it means to live with greater presence.
My work brings together many years as a Registered Massage Therapist with my ongoing exploration of breathwork, mindfulness, craniosacral therapy, and embodied practices. But these days, I’m less interested in telling people what they need to do to heal and more interested in offering experiences, perspectives, and practices that help people listen more deeply to themselves.
I believe there is wisdom in the body, and that meaningful change often begins when we stop trying so hard to fix ourselves and become willing to pay attention instead.
Through therapeutic bodywork, group breathwork, and the stories and reflections I share, I invite you to create a little more space in your life. Space to breathe. Space to feel. Space to listen. Space to simply be.
I don’t have all the answers because I’m still learning, too. And perhaps that’s the most honest part of this work: we’re all fellow travellers, learning how to meet ourselves and our lives with a little more presence, curiosity, and compassion.
My Journey
My journey began with a fascination with the body and its capacity to heal. My own path has taken me through many different practices, traditions, and experiences. Over time, I’ve learned to take what is useful, leave what isn’t, and trust my own direct experience. This helped me understand and resolve different symptoms along the way, including post-partum anxiety, ezcema, and allergies.
For a long time, I approached healing as something I could help make happen. I became a fixer. I wanted to understand, solve, support, and make things better. I cared deeply, but I eventually began to see how exhausting it can be to believe that everything is ours to fix.
My own life is my greatest teacher. I’m learning that healing is not something we control. It happens naturally as we invite daily life to reveal what we didn’t notice before: our limiting beliefs, patterns, triggers, and the way we relate to our bodies and others. Healing is something we allow in it’s own time rather than force.
This has changed the way I work and the way I live. I’m moving from being the rescuer to being more of a lighthouse: grounded, present, and willing to let other people find their own way.
Today, I’m drawn to creating spaces where that kind of discovery can happen. Sometimes that’s through the quiet presence of therapeutic touch. Sometimes it’s through the shared experience of breathing in community. And sometimes it’s simply through a story, a practice, or a new perspective that helps us see our lives differently.
I’m still on the path myself, learning what it means to live with more presence, less striving, and more trust in what life is already teaching me.
The Spacious Breath is an expression of that journey.
What I Believe
Healing is a journey, not a destination. I believe in:
Creating a Safe Space
Your healing journey begins in a non-judgemental space where you feel supported and heard.
Empowering You
My role is to guide and empower you to reconnect with your body’s wisdom.
Holistic Practices
Whether I’m connecting with you through breathwork or therapeutic touch, I meet you where you’re at on your path.
How I can help:
-

Community Breathwork Ceremonies
Breathwork is a powerful tool for releasing trapped emotions, reducing stress, and connecting with your inner self. In a group setting, this practice fosters community and shared healing.
-

Craniosacral Therapy & RMT
Gentle, intuitive touch that helps you unwind, reconnect with your body, and find renewed calm and balance.
-

Private Breathwork
Private sessions aren't currently part of my regular booking schedule. I occasionally open a small number of spaces for returning clients or specific circumstances.

What to Expect
Whether you come for a therapeutic session, join a breathwork ceremony, or explore the blog, you’ll find:
A compassionate and intuitive approach to healing.
A safe space to explore and nurture your well-being.
Practical tools and resources to help you thrive long after our sessions.
I see healing as a process of remembering our wholeness and interconnectedness, not just reducing physical symptoms. The body is wise and knows what it needs to feel in order to grow. Sometimes that means certain symptoms may stick around longer than we expect. I’ve learned that when we learn to be patient and curious about symptoms while focusing more on the areas of our life out of balance, we open to a greater possibility of true healing.
Let’s Connect
If you’re ready, I’d love to support you. Let’s create space for healing, growth, and balance in your life.
All in-person visits are in South Surrey / White Rock, BC. Currently accepting new clients for Craniosacral Therapy (part of RMT).
